Built for 3am.
Not for the shelf.

The pillow we couldn't find anywhere,
so we made it ourselves.

What we actually changed

We started with the two things that wake people up: heat, and a pillow that gives way halfway through the night. So the cover is woven to move air and carry moisture away instead of holding it against your skin, and the foam underneath keeps its shape from the first hour to the last. Take the cover off, put it straight in the machine – no special care, no hand washing, nothing to keep track of.

The trade-off nobody should have to make

Most pillows ask you to pick a side: soft but flat by midnight, or supportive but hot by two. Sleep shouldn’t be this complicated.

Less to think about

The contour does the work for you. Your head, neck and shoulders land where they should without you arranging anything – and when you turn over, the foam follows you instead of the other way round.

Once it is on your bed, it stays simple. One pillow, one washable cover, nothing to fluff back into shape every morning. Clean, breathable, low-maintenance comfort – night after night.

How Lumea started

Not with a business plan, but with a bad night. Too warm, turning the pillow over and over, awake at 3am. We went looking for something better, found nothing worth buying, and decided to build it ourselves.
